Educational Case Studies
We would never sell a service we weren't 100% sure of. And to prove it, below are two case studies from schools in the UK where Youth Motivational Maps made a significant, measurable difference to the learning and development of the students.
We Have the Solution
Developed by former Deputy Head Teacher, James Sale, Youth Motivational Maps are an ISO Accredited self-perception inventory, that measures something that changes over time, like health. Whereas, psychometric tests, like Myers Briggs, deals with personality which is generally fixed by the time you are 5 years old. Higher levels of motivation improves quality of life, enhances self-efficacy and paves the way to enhanced achievement and happiness.
By increasing young people’s self-awareness through understanding and nominalising their motivators, they’re better equipped to self-manage and develop good social skills. Engaging and conversing with young people through their own motivators, enables them to start leading their own learning and find their ‘flow’, i.e. the optimal area between the level of challenge and their level of competence.
How Can Youth Motivational Maps Help?
Develop Self-Awareness and Independence
By creating an understanding of their core motivators, a young person will know exactly what will and won't motivate and engage them, enabling them to develop independence in their life and study.
Improve Child-Guardian Understanding
Motivation is a key component of behaviour. When they understand a young persons motivators, parents, teachers, and coaches will have a deep insight into the root cause of bad behaviours and disengagement.
Develop Specific Strategies that Create Engagement
Learning and reward strategies that have been developed in line with a young person's core motivators are guaranteed to result in far higher levels of motivation and engagement than traditional strategies.
